Keyword Monitors
Catch “200 OK” pages that are actually broken.
Monitor response body content — verify a page contains expected text or does not show an error message.
When to use keyword checks
Some failures return HTTP 200 with an error page or empty body. Keyword monitoring searches the response for a string you define — for example "OK", a product name, or a JSON field.
You can also alert when a forbidden string appears (e.g. "Database connection failed").
Setup
Choose Keyword as the monitor type, enter the URL, and set the keyword and match mode (contains / not contains). Pair with a normal HTTP monitor on the same URL for status-code coverage.
Keyword monitors use the same user agent as HTTP monitors (Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; SurePing/1.0; +https://sureping.cc)). If your site has a WAF or bot protection, see HTTP & HTTPS Monitors for whitelisting guidance.
