What alert contacts are
An alert contact is a destination for notifications: email, SMS, Telegram, webhook, Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, PagerDuty, or WhatsApp. Each contact has a friendly name and credentials or address.
Contacts are account-wide. You assign them per monitor when creating or editing a monitor. One contact can serve many monitors.
Limits and premium integrations
Free plans allow a small number of contacts and one premium integration type (Slack, Discord, Teams, PagerDuty, or WhatsApp) at a time. Higher plans raise contact and integration limits.
SMS and WhatsApp use monthly credits included with paid plans — they do not roll over. Telegram and email do not consume SMS credits.
