Create Your First Monitor
From zero to monitoring in five minutes.
Step-by-step guide to adding your first uptime monitor in SurePing — from signup to your first alert.
Before you start
You need a SurePing account and at least one URL, hostname, or endpoint to monitor. Free plans include 55 monitors with five-minute checks.
Register or log in
Go to the homepage and click Start free. Verify your email if prompted — some alert types require a verified account.
Open Monitors
In the left sidebar, click Monitors, then Add Monitor (or use the + button).
Choose a monitor type
For a website or API, pick HTTP(S). Enter the full URL (e.g. https://example.com/health). Set the check interval based on your plan — free plans minimum is five minutes.
Add alert contacts
Before saving, select one or more alert contacts so you get notified when status changes. If you have none yet, go to Alert Contacts first and add email or Telegram.
Save and verify
Click Create Monitor. Within one check interval you should see the first result. Use Run check now on the monitor row to force an immediate test. If the first check returns 403 or 503, your site may be blocking the SurePing user agent (Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; SurePing/1.0; +https://sureping.cc)) — whitelist it in your firewall or WAF.
